When used correctly, e-collars can be a safe and humane communication tool to help strengthen the bond between you and your dog. They’re not designed to punish, but rather to get your dog’s attention and reinforce commands during training. Like any training aid, they should always be paired with proper guidance, positive reinforcement, and a clear understanding of how to use them. E-collars should never be used on their own without structured training, as the key to success lies in timing, consistency, and clear communication—not correction alone. When introduced gradually and used responsibly, they can help dogs learn faster, build confidence, and improve responsiveness in a calm and controlled way. Best used in conjunction with a professional dog trainer. You can book in person and virtual sessions with us via the contact page.

It ranges in levels soft enough for a small dog or puppy, up to a large stubborn dog.

As a professional NDTF dog trainer in Australia, located in Queensland, this trainer approved bark and training e-collar is a great way to extend your communication with your dog. We often use this tool with backyard livestock dogs who are prone to attack cows, sheep, chickens and horses, for example, to teach them that learning to live with livestock harmoniously gives them reward and praise. Stop high energy dogs chasing, birds, cats, other dogs and cars for example. Hunting dogs learn when to return and when to leave prey depending on the action.

It is also a great tool to improve Recall, improve Reactivity and Hyperactivity, as well as reduce excessive barking.

Most dogs will only need training with Sound & Vibrate options, no shock needed. However having the static option will help stubborn or strong dogs with aversion training, which is usually to stop life threatening or injury prone scenarios that put them or others in danger, or for dogs excessively barking that have been put on notice by council for neighbour complaints.
