About Us

Welcome! I’m April, a professional in Pet Care. Myself and our trusted network of Pet Sitters offer animal training, pet sitting, pet visits, dog walking and adventure walks, and horse care on the gold coast, Australia and wanted a way to share those services online, as well as offer complimenting pet products for you and your animal bestie. Fully insured for your peace of mind. 

Personally, I have a lifetime of experience with animals, training dogs and puppies, cats, horses, experience with reptiles, birds and small pets. You name it, I know it! I’m also a volunteer for Wildcare Australia and have experience with rescuing injured native Wildlife and basic medical care.

I have been a beauty business owner, and business coach, for many years, and have learned that animals & teaching are my passion. Over the last two years, I have been lucky enough to be able to focus my attention on wildlife rescue, animal training and behaviour. Spending time building and mending relationships between pet and owner. I love to watch the pets thrive from training and leadership, and seeing a happy owner who can live a little easier knowing they have the right tools and support from my help.

Located on the Gold Coast, we also make weekly visits to Brisbane for dog & horse training or dog adventure walks, and are happy to travel south of the border, if needed. We also offer 1 on 1 guided horse riding trails or horse riding lessons.

Our team of professional pet sitters will treat your pet like their own, loved and cared for at all times. We love going on adventures like beach walks or nature hikes, so having more furry friends as company for these is amazing. We'll update you with photos and videos, so you can stay connected and see how your pet is doing! We work hard to find the right pet sitter to match up with yours and your pets needs while you enjoy your time away. Our Pet sitters go through first aid and basic dog training to be equipped in an emergency and have a better understanding of the behaviours of your pup.

In 2021 I completed my Wildlife rescue training with Wildcare, and my certificate in Canine Behaviour, Psychology & Training. Currently I am furthering my study with the National Dog Trainers Federation accredited course with electives in Therapy Dog Training, Scent Detection Training, and Tracking & Trailing training so that I can offer a wide range of expertise. I can help with any issues you need to work on with your pup.

These include basic puppy training which is important in the first 20 weeks of life to set them up for success, dog socialisation, lead behaviour, toilet training, mild dog aggression or aggression with people, anxiety and other reactive behaviours. We also have a horse trainer as part of the team, so we can help with your Equine training, and care visits if needed. 

We believe in working with owner AND pet together, to create a harmonious relationship that lasts long term, not just working on the pet for results, as Leadership and positive reinforcement is the most important for pets to feel confident and secure.

We offer both online and in person training, courses and e-books so that we can assist no matter where you are located.

There is also the option to treat your dog to our Doggy Daycare, and allow them to socialise and benefit from time with a dog trainer and other puppies. With a dedicated doggy playroom, outside time running around on acreage and lots of treats and toys, your pup will be happier and more relaxed when they come home to you. Dogs are naturally pack animals and socialisation is great for a well balanced pooch! Located in Tallebudgera Valley, near the Community Centre, just 10min from Burleigh Stocklands, Gold Coast.
